Creating a GitHub Account

Let's get you set up with GitHub, your online code collaboration hub! Here's how to create your account:

1. Go to GitHub.com.
2. Click the Sign up button in the top-right corner.
3. Fill out the sign-up form with your username, email, and password. Choose a username that's professional and memorable! (P.S. I used my name, which was pretty cool when it was time to create my resume)
4. Follow the prompts to verify your email address and complete the account setup.
5. Once your account is ready, go to the next tab to create your SSH key.
